Abbey Divorce Consultancy provides the help you need during one of life's most difficult challenges.
Introduction

Divorce can be overwhelming, like navigating a confusing maze – you want to get to the middle and out the other side but don’t know how. Even as a qualified solicitor with experience in family law, I felt lost and anxious when I faced my own divorce in 2020. I knew instructing a solicitor was probably necessary, but I was also aware of the costs involved. Fortunately, I found a very good solicitor and managed to keep my legal fees down by handling some tasks myself and only seeking help when truly needed, as I understood what were legal issues and what weren’t.

During this time, I also became a Divorce Coach, which helped me manage my emotions and stay focused on moving forward. Divorce is emotionally challenging, and unchecked emotions can prolong the process, increasing stress and legal costs. Ideally, both parties should work collaboratively together with kindness and understanding, moving at the same pace, which will also help to keep the legal costs in check. This isn’t always possible though.

My experience inspired me to want to help others through the divorce maze.

Abbey Divorce Consultancy will provide guidance and assistance through this difficult time, help you to manage your emotions, make positive choices, accept the inevitable changes and embrace a new beginning.
